Question: Should we share our trade secrets or hard-earned best practices with others, or never? Most of my peers say never--as it's what sets us apart from the competition. But I’ve never really had a scarcity mindset when it comes to knowledge. Here you can see me with 14 super bright young minds who traveled from Utah’s Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business for a week’s field trip in LA. Their college major is “Experience Design and Management”. If this is new to you, “Experience” or the “Experience Economy” is all the buzz at this time in the events and corporate marketing space. You have Experiential Events, Experiential Marketing Companies, Chief Experience Officers, and more in every field you can imagine from hotels to software companies, hospitals, restaurants, and theme parks. As a member of the WXO - World Experience Organization, I had the opportunity to sit on this panel for several hours answering question after question from these bright young curious minds. It was delightful to see their faces light up that they would have an opportunity to put all their theoretical studies aside to ask real-world Qs, concerns, and problems that they’ve been pondering in the classroom to help determine their life's entire trajectory. It was not only fun sharing my "secrets" as an event producer, but unusually rewarding. I believe we’re all kings and queens in some corner. So if you have the chance, please share your knowledge with the next generation. This is your chance to apply the old, “What would you tell your 21-year-old self if you could?” Of note: I’m joined here by prominent experience design luminaries, Laura Hess of Reuleaux and Steve Tiseo of Friendly Vengeance. Both are humble genuine class acts, great at what they do, and were equally candid and selfless in sharing their insights.

Showcasing the best of XR & AI for creatives and professionals | Tech Ambassador | Podcast Host | Speaker
Newton's room teaches you #physics in #mixedreality. Still doubting the role of #spatialcomputing in #education? I had the chance to test this early build and the integration in a real-world environment added a lot of value to the experience and the overall #learning. Thanks, Horacio Torrendell for giving me early access. I have seen more and more of these educational apps pop up in the Meta store. Let me know which one would you like to see featured next in the comment 👇

It's been a few weeks, and there have been plenty of posts surrounding the inaugural World Experience Summit in London from the WXO - World Experience Organization, but we felt we needed to spread even more love for a remarkable (un)conference. Friendly Vengeance Co-founder and CEO, Steve Tiseo was among a number of speakers from every aspect and specialty in the experience economy and discussed finding purposeful ways to create augmented reality experiences. What an amazing event! A gathering of creatives for the ages. We can't wait for future WXO events and summits! It is going to be a tall order to top the venue that Phantom Peak provided, though. James Wallman, Olivia Squire - you should be so proud! 📸(in order) Steve Tiseo, Chaz Gahley, Nick Moran
