The historic Tradewinds Resort passed a milestone last week gaining final Board approval for a $500M resort expansion. This project will set the bar of guest experience for all future developments/redevelopment on Florida's west coast. Perry Becker Design is proud to be part of the team to bring this project to life. TradeWinds Island Resorts wins Planning Board approval. Perry Becker Design teamed with 1754 Properties, Nunzio Marc DeSantis Architects, Harris Civil Engineers, LLC, and Stearns Weaver Miller to gain another crucial approval to advance the design and redevelopment of one of the most successful resorts on the Gulf Coast. Located in St. Pete Beach, this project remains one of the most loved family vacation resorts in Florida. This plan sets the stage for a multi-year build-out to add 629 new hotel rooms in multiple new towers, completely reimagine all of the resort amenities and pool areas, and the creation of a new Beach Walk promenade along the entire gulf frontage of the resort... providing guests with new restaurants, shops and beach access. As part of this project, a complete dune restoration plan will be implemented to both restore and create new dune habitat. We couldn’t be more thrilled to work with this team to create such a wonderful experience for the future of Tradewinds and their guests.
