May is Mental Health Awareness Month, which brings us all at Schaefer back to our holiday campaign: Share S’more Kindness. We supported National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) + made an effort shed light on mental health awareness by encouraging those around us to share notes of kindness. It’s Earth Day! To honor this day, we wanted to showcase one of our LEED Gold projects. Xavier University’s Alter Hall was designed so that energy usage would be at half the campus average. This structure includes windows responsible for reducing solar heating, a reflective roof that reduces heat retention, and other environmentally-friendly + energy-efficient measures.
