A month ago we worked with Murphy on bringing to life their annual Acorn Awards event, an amazing internal event celebrating the achievements of their own workforce, all over the UK, Ireland and Canada. . Two Tails became ‘Three Tails’ as we made some new furry friends in 2023. Throughout the 2023 international football season, Two Tails was delighted to begin a new relationship with the world-renowned English Football Association (FA), becoming the official custodians of the freshly updated mascots Roary, Mane, and Paws. Over the course of the year, we chaperoned the performers and mascot costumes at England men's, women's, and under 21’s fixtures, including the prestigious FA Cup Final and Semi-finals at the iconic Wembley Stadium. The team managed an impressive total of 16 games, with 10 of them hosted at the historic Wembley Stadium and an additional 6 on the road, featuring prominent FA club grounds such as Manchester United, Everton, Nottingham Forest, and Leicester City. With a reputable history in working with costumed characters, the FA asked us to provide the performers for the much-loved mascots, as well as lead in the overall care, storage, and logistics of the costumes. Two Tails has established a strong working relationship with both the FA and Wembley Stadium, escorting the mascots both on the pitch and in the VIP hospitality areas, charming everyone they met. Joe Divall, Head of FA Events, says:   “Two Tails’ care and attention of our iconic mascots has been excellent. Their production team and performers have played an invaluable role in elevating the mascots’ presence, bringing the characters to life, and enhancing the fans’ experience and overall match atmosphere.” At the helm of the project was our Head of Events, Natasha Flegg: "It was an honour to play a pivotal role in orchestrating the appearances of the mascots, both at home and away games. The performers were excellent, as always, and the mascots proved to be a huge hit amongst fans."

🎈🛳 It's one year since our live production of 'Wallace & Gromit's All Hands on Deck!' set sail aboard P&O Cruises' newest ship Arvia. The all-singing, all-dancing show takes place underneath Arvia's stunning SkyDome and continues to entertain guests as part of P&O's world-class on-board entertainment. In partnership with BAFTA award-winning animation studio Aardman, the show was such a joy to put together, and wouldn't have been possible without an outstanding team: Two Tails Productions' Creative Director Ellie Carter Ames and Head of Production Emma Topping and our talented show team, Writer/Director Kieron Smith, Composer/Musical Director Jak Poore, Choreographer/Movement Director Jonathan Mawson, Show Caller Claire Porter and Technical Manager Giles Parbery. A massive thank you again to Ngaio Harding-Hill, Molly Van Den Brink, Merlin Crossingham, Angie Last and everyone for getting onboard with the vision at Aardman, our Media Producers Amplitude, Costumes With Character, Lois Greer and most importantly - thank you for everything P&O Cruises Phil Yeomans, Adam Jenkins, Jenna Whorton, Catherine Kennedy and Arvia’s creative team especially Thomas, Nick, Adam, Dan, Owen, Tom, Scott, Rosie and Immy in wardrobe and the fantastic stage management and technical ops teams. It’s difficult to bear, but yesterday we said fur-well to the ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ trails at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew sites at Kew and Wakehurst. This Autumn (even during some very grizzly weather), visitors have swishy swashed, splash sploshed, sqelch squerched and tip-toed their way through seven different bear hunt themed trail points in search of the elusive Bear. It was a joy to work with such a well-loved IP and the world famous RBG sites, and we were delighted to hear the overwhelmingly paw-sitive feedback from the visitors who attended event.
